This upgrade was well worth the money and time. Factory enhanced for concealed carry Exceptional ergonomics and balance Reduced reach grip Short reset trigger SIGLITE night sights. It really didn't bother me any and I will just put the old parts back in if I should ever have a warranty issue where I would need to send the gun back to the factory. Although the disclaimer is your factory warranty is voided if you don't have a qualified Sig Armory person do the kit replacement. Almost anyone handy with their hands can perform this upgrade without taking the gun to a gunsmith and paying to have it done. I watched a couple of Utube videos showing how to install the new kit parts. I am no gunsmith by any stretch of the imagination but am able to do replacement part upgrades on my guns.
Greatly reduces trigger reset travel to make quicker follow up shots. Not sure why the factory doesn't have the SRT isn't on all 226/227/229. I should have brought this SRT kit for my 229R years ago.
